What is the largest opening I can screen using Screen Tight?
Screen Tight works great on openings up to 40 square feet.

Can I paint the Screen Tight?
Yes. First prepare the surface with denatured alcohol, then paint with latex paint.

Can I use aluminum screen wire with Screen Tight?
Yes, but we recommend fiberglass screening because it is easier to install, installs tighter, just as durable and less expensive than aluminum screening.

What size spline should I use?
.175 or 11/64" for fiberglass and .160  for aluminum.

Specifications and General Data: All exposed materials are manufactured with the highest quality UV resistant window grade vinyl. Base and cap widths are 1.5" and 3.5". Available lengths are 8' and 12'. Recommended screen spline is .175 or 11/64" in diameter for fiberglass screening and .160 for aluminum. Standard cap colors are white, beige, and gray. Prepunched slots are on 8" centers. The patented Screen Tight system allows the use of larger openings because the spline grips the screen around the entire perimeter of the opening. Screen Tight can accommodate openings up to 40 square feet.
